Ethos

Beulah firmly believes that psychological wellness is achievable through an active collaboration between clinician and client. Beulah is committed to using her experience and skills to support a client’s willingness to bring their strength, hope and focus to the therapeutic process.

Clients are encouraged to practise strategies discussed in session to more effectively manage their feelings, thinking and behaviour, as well as developing insight and understanding of themselves and their issues.

Specialised treatments such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy,  and other clinically proven therapies are used as appropriate to best service individual need and achieve maximum success in the shortest possible time frame.

Beulah is solution focused and typically expects to see measurable improvement between three and seven sessions – depending on the nature and severity of the presenting concern.
